1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of SmartHub, a business platform and operational web application operated by Smartports AB (“Smartports”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By accessing or using SmartHub, users agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use SmartHub.
2. About SmartHub
SmartHub is a modular operational and collaboration platform developed and operated by Smartports AB.
The platform supports:

- • Customer and project management
- • Subcontractor coordination
- • Client collaboration
- • Workflow and task management
- • Reporting and analytics
- • Document management
- • Communication and scheduling
- • Operational and planning activities
SmartHub may include modules and operational systems such as:
- • SmartSales
- • SmartProjects
- • SmartFinance
- • SmartBoards
- • SmartMarketing
- • Explore / Smart3D
- • Shared operational tools and dashboards
Access to functionality depends on assigned permissions, project involvement, and organizational roles.
3. Authorized Users
SmartHub may be used by:
- • Smartports employees
- • Contractors and subcontractors
- • Approved external partners and stakeholders
- • Authorized client users
- • Business collaborators approved by Smartports AB
Users may access only the information and functionality specifically assigned to them.
Unauthorized access or misuse of SmartHub is strictly prohibited.
4. User Accounts & Authentication
SmartHub uses Google OAuth authentication.
Users authenticate using their Google account and SmartHub may access:
- • Name
- • Email address
- • Basic profile information
OAuth scopes currently used:
- • openid
- • profile
SmartHub does not store Google account passwords.
Users are responsible for:
- • Maintaining the confidentiality of their account access
- • Securing devices used to access SmartHub
- • Preventing unauthorized use of their account
- • Immediately reporting suspected unauthorized access
Smartports AB reserves the right to suspend or restrict access where suspicious, unauthorized, or harmful activity is detected.
5. Client, Partner & Subcontractor Access
SmartHub supports controlled access for:
- • Clients
- • External stakeholders
- • Operational partners
- • Subcontractors
- • Approved collaborators
Access may include visibility into:
- • Projects
- • Workflows
- • Documents
- • Reports
- • Schedules
- • Operational updates
- • Shared communication
Certain external access may be provided in a read-only format.
Smartports AB controls:
- • Access permissions
- • Information visibility
- • Module availability
- • User roles and restrictions
External users may access only information relevant to their authorized operational scope.
6. Acceptable Use
Users agree not to:
- • Access unauthorized systems or information
- • Share credentials or accounts
- • Upload malicious or harmful content
- • Attempt to bypass security controls
- • Interfere with platform stability or availability
- • Use SmartHub for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
- • Extract or distribute confidential information without authorization
- • Reverse engineer or exploit platform functionality
Smartports AB reserves the right to investigate misuse and take appropriate action where necessary.
7. Role-Based Access & Permissions
SmartHub uses role-based and permission-based access controls.
Access to:
- • Projects
- • Workflows
- • Financial information
- • Documents
- • Client information
- • Administrative functionality
is restricted based on assigned permissions and operational responsibilities.
Users must not attempt to access information outside their authorized scope.
8. Documents & Uploaded Content
Users may upload:
- • Documents
- • Reports
- • Images
- • PDFs
- • Project-related files
- • Operational documentation
Users are responsible for ensuring uploaded content:
- • Complies with applicable law
- • Does not infringe intellectual property rights
- • Does not contain malicious code or harmful material
- • Is appropriate for operational use within SmartHub
Smartports AB reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or creates operational, legal, or security risks.
9. AI-Assisted Features
SmartHub may include AI-assisted operational functionality including:
- • Workflow summaries
- • Text summarization
- • Internal automation support
- • Document processing assistance
- • Operational context tools
AI-assisted features are intended to support operational workflows and human decision-making.
SmartHub does not use customer data to train public AI models.
10. Third-Party Services & Integrations
SmartHub may integrate with third-party providers including:
- • Google APIs and Google Workspace services
- • AWS cloud infrastructure
- • SendGrid
- • OpenAI
- • Internal and operational business systems
Third-party services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Smartports AB is not responsible for outages or issues originating from external providers outside its operational control.
11. Availability & Service Operation
Smartports AB aims to maintain reasonable platform availability and operational stability.
However, SmartHub is provided on an “as available” basis and uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Temporary interruptions may occur due to:
- • Maintenance
- • Security updates
- • Infrastructure upgrades
- • Operational improvements
- • Third-party service interruptions
- • Unexpected technical issues
Features and functionality may be modified, updated, restricted, or discontinued at any time.
12. Security Responsibilities
Users are responsible for:
- • Maintaining account security
- • Using secure devices and networks
- • Following organizational security requirements where applicable
- • Reporting suspected unauthorized access or security incidents
Smartports AB implements technical and organizational safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Intellectual Property
SmartHub, including its:
- • Software
- • Platform structure
- • Designs
- • Operational systems
- • Workflows
- • Branding
- • Internal tools
- • Visual assets
- • Documentation
remains the intellectual property of Smartports AB unless otherwise stated.
Users may not:
- • Copy
- • Redistribute
- • Commercially exploit
- • Reverse engineer
- • Republish
any part of SmartHub without written authorization from Smartports AB.
14. Confidentiality
Users may gain access to confidential operational and business information through SmartHub.
Users agree to maintain confidentiality regarding:
- • Customer information
- • Financial information
- • Project data
- • Internal workflows
- • Operational planning
- • Technical systems
- • Business communications
- • Internal documentation
Confidential information must not be disclosed without authorization.
15. Suspension & Termination
Smartports AB may suspend or terminate access:
- • For security reasons
- • For violations of these Terms
- • Upon termination of business relationships
- • Where required by law
- • To protect operational integrity or other users
Upon termination, access to SmartHub may be revoked immediately.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- • SmartHub is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis
- • Smartports AB does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
- • Smartports AB shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform usage
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.
17. Privacy & Data Protection
Use of SmartHub is also governed by the SmartHub Privacy Policy.
Users are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy for information regarding:

- • Security
- • User rights
- • Retention practices
- • GDPR-aligned measures
18. Changes to These Terms
Smartports AB may update these Terms periodically.
Updated versions will be published within SmartHub or related services together with an updated effective date.
Continued use of SmartHub after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
19. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sweden, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
